twofish7.jpg In August 2003 we opened our doors at the Twofish Baking Company, an artisan bakery on the Sonoma Coast at The Sea Ranch. Our goal was to bring high-quality baked goods, drinks, and lunch items to North Coast residents and visitors. Everything on our menu is handmade daily on the premises using fresh ingredients.

The two of us begin our day at 2:30 am when we start readying our artisan breads and pastries for our customers. While we are serving breakfast, we are also pulling bread out of the oven and preparing for lunch–making salads, sandwiches, and soups. After lunch, we turn to mixing dough and setting it to rise for tomorrow’s bread and pastries. Coffee is ground and brewed fresh throughout the day.

People have asked what it means to be artisan bakers. Take our baguettes for an example. Each baguette we are serving today had its beginnings two days ago with a starter. The starter was mixed into a dough yesterday, and the dough was hand-rolled this morning. It is this care and craftsmanship that makes Twofish products unique and special.

Since 2003 our business has grown and we have many loyal customers. Thank you for choosing to spend some time today at the Twofish Baking Company.
